Inspire Implants

Due to high interest, there may be a delay in scheduling your appointment to discuss the Inspire implant.

Thank you for your interest in Inspire. This is an implantable nerve stimulator that can treat obstructive sleep apnea in patients who cannot tolerate CPAP or are not benefitting from it. There are several requirements that must be met before a patient is eligible for Inspire. It is important to complete every step in the following list before scheduling your office visit.

1.      Visit Inspire website (Inspiresleep.com) and click on “Do I Qualify” to determine if Inspire would be right for you. This questionnaire will make sure you meet the requirements for Inspire.

2.      Visit Inspire website and click on “FAQ” and watch all videos. These short videos give excellent information on how Inspire works, implantation, insurance coverage and post op tuning of the device.

3.      You must have a recent sleep study within the last 2 years to be an Inspire candidate. It is required to have this sleep study sent to the office so it can be reviewed prior to scheduling your office visit. This ensures we have all the necessary information to see if you are a candidate.
